We’re in this thing together. The actions individual Members take can have a big impact on our system as a whole. That’s why all Jet Cloud Mailer Members must follow this Acceptable Use Policy in their use of the Service. If you violate this policy, we may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service.
Prohibited Content
Please don’t use the Service to distribute anything offensive, promote anything illegal, or harass anyone. You may not use the Service to create, send, display, advertise, or sell (as applicable):
- Illegal goods or services
- Emails that violate the CAN-SPAM Act in the U.S. or other anti-spam laws
- Pornography/sexually explicit content
- Campaigns promoting or supporting terrorism or violent extremism
- Counterfeit products or products that infringe intellectual property rights
- Products claiming to prevent, treat, or cure COVID-19 that are not approved/authorized by relevant agencies
- Price gouging / deceptive pricing for in-demand products due to COVID-19 where prohibited
Restricted industries
Some industries have higher-than-average abuse complaints, so we may not allow businesses that offer:
- • Escort / marriage broker services
- • Hookup / swinger services
- • Pharmaceutical products
- • Work-at-home / make money schemes
- • Gambling services/products
- • Multi-level marketing
- • Affiliate marketing
- • Credit repair / debt relief
- • List brokers / list rental
- • Selling “Likes” / followers
- • Cryptocurrencies / ICO-related assets
Content Subject to Additional Scrutiny
Certain content may cause higher-than-average abuse rates, so we may closely review accounts offering:
- • Online trading / day trading tips
- • Daily horoscope reports
- • Mortgages and loans
- • Nutritional / herbal / vitamin supplements
- • Adult entertainment/novelty items
- • Online dating services/apps (sexual emphasis not permitted)
- • Real estate
- • Programmatic sending on behalf of third parties
- • Regulated in-demand COVID-19 products
If we identify abuse at our sole discretion, we may suspend, throttle, or disable the account or access to the Service.
Prohibited Actions
To maintain platform reputation and deliverability, you may not:
- Send spam (bulk or one-to-one commercial emails without consent).
- Send marketing emails without evidence of opt-in/consent.
- Use content that violates others’ rights (text, photos, graphics, etc.).
- Use misleading/incorrect names, addresses, subject lines, or other info.
- Share your password with any person.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble software.
- Use the software to create a competing product.
- Upload sensitive personal information (passwords, credentials, regulated identifiers, etc.).
- Upload/send to purchased, rented, third-party, or publicly available lists.
- Host content/images for purposes outside your use of the Service.
- Avoid billing thresholds except as permitted by terms.
Transactional vs bulk
Transactional email is designed for transactional messages. Use campaigns for bulk sending. One-to-one inbox tools are designed for one-to-one messaging; include opt-out options where required.
Best Practices
We provide guidance about permission and audience best practices. You may only use Jet Cloud Mailer in accordance with these best practices, and we may suspend or terminate your account if you violate them.
Reporting Violations
If you need to report abuse or suspected infringement, contact our support team through the official channels provided in your account area.
Enforcement
We use automated and human review processes to detect abuse and take action. We may suspend suspicious accounts and review explanations before reinstating access.
